In the Waterkeeper Conference held between 6 and 10 June 2018, at Buffalo city, New York, U.S.A., NEER’s ongoing efforts for rejuvenation of East Kali River were appreciated. Among all the waterkeepers and their work on their respective rivers in last one year, NEER Foundation received 6th rank in the top ten.
This winning effort consisted of health camps organized in villages situated near Kali East River’s banks, where numerous residents suffer from water borne diseases. This effort has been recognized by the Jury panel of the Waterkeeper Alliance.

detailing the programs and efforts put on reviving the East Kali River were
also distributed to fellow waterkeepers, WKA team and guests. Also, a copy was
presented to WKA president Mr. Robert F Kennedy Junior.
